These works are part of the project “Change of Place.” They were originally created as one large canvas, later intentionally divided into separate pieces, each becoming an independent artwork.
This process reflects the experience of people who have left their cities or countries and found themselves dispersed across the world. Like the divided canvas, the works did not lose their strength — instead, each fragment gained autonomy, wholeness, and its own voice.
The series speaks about displacement without loss, and about fragmentation that leads to resilience and inner completeness.
This work is presented on unprimed canvas with a wooden bar and hanging cord — a physical extension of the painting’s expressive energy, inviting it to exist not just as an image, but as a presence in space.
