ARTIST STATEMENT

Abstract art was the most incomprehensible and atypical activity for the environment where I was born and raised.

From the resistance to social fetters and the desire to break out of them, this type of art has become the closest to me because of the feeling of complete freedom - internal and external, in manifestation and interpretation.

I am inspired by experiments with materials, techniques and forms - a huge variability in the possibilities of going beyond the rules and norms.  It is encouraging that on my canvases the viewers read the same feelings and states that I put into meanings, but at the same time they have the freedom to interpret them in their own way, according to their personal experience and worldview.  I feel great pleasure from the fact that every time I create a new work, I release another part of myself and get more inner support and support in myself.  I used to feel it in abstract paintings by other artists.  Now I hope that my art will give the same support to the audience.
