What is home for you? Where is it?

Feeling at home wherever you are is the main theme of this research project. From a change of place, important ones do not change - relatives seem to be relatives, close - close, despite the lack of meetings. «Changing of Places» is a survey of coverage and priorities that we find in the world around us, about what is important for our life.

The exposition is a mixture of photographs, abstract paintings and texts, for which people who left their homeland for various reasons were interviewed. These are not just photographs and abstractions, this is a penetration into the sensual essence of the house, into what fills our life with meaningful meaning.

Each artwork at the exhibition is the result of the inspiration of the authors and the unique experience associated with moving from one house to another. Through artistic canvases, photographs and texts, we can observe the gradual transformation of the unfamiliar into the familiar and domestic, the development new rituals and traditions, getting used to the new environment.
